The Ultimate Tractor Power series of books Volume 1 and Volume 2 takes a comprehensive look at four-wheel drive articulated tractors of the world from Wagners of the 1950 through to present day New Holland TJ Series. Manufacturers in many countries have built high horsepower four-wheel drive articulated tractors.
Volume 2 of Ultimate Tractor Power continues to look at tractors from both North and South America and Canada, plus many European countries, and again features the giant prairie buster or broadacre tractors from Australia.
Starting with Mancini from Argentina and concluding with Zannelo from Brazil, all the major manufacturers are shown, including Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Steiger and Versatile plus the White Motor Corporation owned Minneapolis Moline and Oliver tractors followed by the White Field Boss Series and on to the White Farm Equipment (WFE) range. Many small manufacturers are included who built tractors for just a short period of time and whose names became lost with time.
Rubber tracked conversions from independent companies offer a cheap alternative to buying a purpose built rubber-tracked machine, three American rubber track specialists are featured. Also included in this volume is a short section on collecting tractor literature, which has become a vital source of historical reference.
Heavily illustrated throughout with quality pictures, informative text and accurate specification details, Volume 2 completes the A-Z of four wheel drive articulated tractors.
