A World Wide Guide to Massey Harris, Ferguson & Early Massey Ferguson Tractors by John Farnworth

In compiling this world-wide identification guide, John Farnworth has concisely brought together and defined for the first time the extensive tractor family of some 300 models which preceded the Massey Ferguson 100 series tractors launched in 1964. He does this by presenting concise and basic specifications for each model of tractor together with photographs of representative model types. The tractors are grouped in chapters according to their country of manufacture, with the specifications preceding the photographs.

Tractors which are not commonly associated with Massey Ferguson history are also covered. These include Landini tractors manufactured immediately after the take-over by MF, Ford Fergusons and the very early Sawyer Massey steam and Gasoline engine tractors. These are increasingly becoming recognised as part of Massey Ferguson history and lineage.

The Author:

John Farnworth has already made significant and comprehensive contributions to Massey Ferguson history with his previous texts "Ferguson Implements and Accessories", and the "Massey Legacy" Volumes I and II. This World-Wide Identification Guide will provide a much needed companion volume to these texts and for the first time bring together all the early tractors of the Massey Ferguson history from the beginning of the century to 1964.
