This is Foden seen through the eyes of Peter Davies, a lifelong truck enthusiast, and the focus is on vehicle types, especially those which have become favourites among the enthusiasts’ fraternity. The book also brings the Foden story up to date to include the high quality modern trucks produced over the past 24 years since the company became part of Paccar. Profusely illustrated, the book recalls all the significant model types including the legendary DG and FG/FE models as well as favourites like the S21 ‘Mickey Mouse’, S39, S80, Half-Cabs, Dumpers, Cranes and PSVs. Rare colour photographs, mainly by the author, bring the vehicles to life and recall many of the long-forgotten haulage liveries which have graced Fodens over the years.
