For many people - the Ruston-Bucyrus Era began in the post war years during the rebuilding of Britain after World War II and continued through until the late nineteen seventies.

In this first of a three part Documentary - several of the famous Ruston Bucyrus Cranes are covered independently - starting with the 22-RB, the 38-RB, progressing onto two different 61-RB's and finally onto the mighty 71-RB. Each Crane was found working in a modern industrial environment.

These four marvellous Cranes have already stood the test of time - exceeding all expectations, but will they continue to give as equally long service record for the future.
